Aperture did an incredible job making our basement so much more livable! While the basement looked alright originally, my asthma and allergies were noticing the mold. Prior to the work, the basement fluctuated humidity in the 70% range. There were paint pucker spots on the concrete walls.
Aperture came in and ripped out all the carpeting and leveled/sealed the floors. The concrete walls were framed, sealed, and then spray foam for insulation. During the process some additional leaks were found that they were quick and flexible to repair!
Now? There is no longer the mold issue and the basement is one of our favorite places!
It's warm, inviting, and the humidity stays in the 30% range. The cold, damp basement with mold has been fixed!
Note that they keep a very clean construction site! They also provided advice when we'd had a bad experience with another contractor and were then able to help with the completion of the roofing job as well!

Aperture Construction are our neighbors. When the ice storm hit two years ago, they came over to see how we were and cut down a branch blocking our driveway. Surge jump up on the roof and cleaned out our chimney from cobwebs so we could have heat. He brought us extra water for our animals when we were running low from a week of no electricity. He didn't ask for pay for any of this, he was just being a good neighbor and a friend. He built handrails on the back porch for my husband (disabled vet) after he fell off the steps (at a very reasonable price!), and when a branch went through our roof in the last wind storm he dropped everything to run over and cover the hole in the rain and as it was getting dark. Our landlords then hired him to fix the roof and clean it, and I cant believe how thorough of a job he did! The roof looks 10 years younger! I wrote all this because this is the kind of people you will have working for you when you hire Aperture Construction...the kind of people you want to have as a neighbor.
